We understand that planning a funeral involves both emotional and practical decisions. To support you during this time, we offer a range of clear, affordable funeral packages to suit different needs and budgets. On this page you’ll find full details of our services, pricing, and what each package includes – so you can make informed choices with confidence and peace of mind.

Traditional Funeral Service
  • All professional services including arranging, paying the necessary disbursement fees on your behalf, completing all necessary forms, liaising and delivery of all paperwork to relevant authorities, conducting the funeral with all appropriate staff
  • Flexibility with the selection of the date and time of the funeral
  • Flexibility with the selection of the venues for the funeral
  • Transferring your loved one into our care – 24/7 within 25 miles of our funeral home (small charge for additional miles £1 per mile)
  • Standard light or dark oak veneered coffin with 6 handles, 6 screw covers and a quality interior (it is possible to upgrade your coffin – to see our Coffins & Caskets arrange an appointment to see us)
  • Preparation and taking care of your loved one
  • Use of our Chapel of Rest
  • Professional advice on registration of death
  • Supplying of hearse and driver
  • To leave at a location of your choice
  • To assist you with a death notice, order of service or in the arranging of floral tributes (all will be charged at cost)
  • Online obituary, including the facility for people to donate to your chosen charity
  • The collection and administration of charitable donations made prior, on or after the funeral.

Simple Funeral Service
  • All professional services including arranging, paying the necessary disbursement fees on your behalf, completing all necessary forms, liaising and delivery of all paperwork to relevant authorities, conducting the funeral with all appropriate staff
  • The transfer of the deceased into our care.
  • Preparation and taking care of your loved one
  • Use of our Chapel of Rest (Weekdays 9:00am – 4:00pm)
  • Simple veneered coffin with 6 handles, 6 screw covers and a quality interior(it is possible to upgrade your coffin – arrange an appointment to see our Coffins & Caskets range)
  • The funeral will be arranged to take place 10:00am or prior.
  • Provision of funeral conductor and necessary staff on the day of the funeral.
  • Provision of a motor hearse.

Unattended Direct Cremation Service

At our local crematorium, Mintlyn Crematorium:

  • All professional services including arranging, paying the necessary disbursement fees on your behalf, completing all necessary forms, liaising and delivery of all paperwork to relevant authorities and providing of appropriate staff
  • Professional advice on registration of death
  • Transferring your loved one into our care – 24/7 – within 25 miles of our funeral home (extra charge of £200 if out of office hours, small charge for additional miles of £1 per mile)
  • Preparation and taking care of your loved one
  • Viewing of your loved one in our chapel of rest, Monday to Friday, within our office hours (out of hours comes at a charge)
  • Supplying of basic coffin with a simple interior
  • We can inform you of the day of the cremation if you desire

Disbursements for Cremation

  • Mintlyn Crematorium – £1015 / Fenland Crematorium £ 1220 (Other Crematoriums differ on price)
  • Minister fee for a service at the Crematorium – £ 240+
  • Celebrant fee for a service at the Crematorium – £240
  • Church & Minister fee (if Church service prior to Crematorium service) – Price on application (POA)
  • Crematorium charge for Webcast, Music Tribute (slideshow), Single Holding Photo or Video – (POA)

Disbursements for Burial

Grave preparation, including use of grass mats – £400

Newspaper Announcements – £ 95 +

Arranging, grave preparation & attendance of Funeral Director for interment of cremated remains in a local Churchyard or Cemetery (Saturday or Sunday) – £ 220
